Fall Out Boy were recently announced as an act on 2015‘s Soundwave lineup, and it looks like we’re going to have some new jams to rock out to come February! Leaked over the past week in a casting call, the Chicago bred pop-punk powerhouse is set to release a new single titled ‘Centuries’ sometime in October. The call set out for people aged 18-25 to portray Roman-style characters in the single’s video. Fall Out Boy are known for their unusual and interesting music videos, and it seems like will be no different. Previously, the band had stated that their upcoming music would be a far cry from previous releases in terms of musical style, as their last album ‘Save Rock And Roll’ was. Whether or not we’ll be moving further into pop territory, or further away (like their late-2013 ‘Pax Am Days’ EP) remains unclear, though this writer is certainly keen to find out when the new single drops. We’ll keep you up to date with more info as it comes, but in the meantime, check out their most recent feature length effort and get pumped to see the boys at Soundwave!
